The International Premiere of "Trap" at the 60th International Short Film Festival Brno 16

"Trap" 2019 short film written and directed by Shirin Ekhlasi, previously screened at Tehran International Short Film Festival, has been selected to compete at the 60th International Short Film Festival Brno 16, Czech Republic.
"Trap," tells the story of a young girl who has been abused by a soldier during the invasion of her village. She sells strange necklaces to the soldiers for revenge.

Shirin Ekhlasi has had her first experience as a director in "Trap" silent short film. 
Brno 16 is an international short film festival. It is one of the oldest film festivals in the Czech Republic and has been going on uninterrupted since 1960. Brno 16 presents various kinds of short films - live-action, animation, experimental, student, professional and also non-professional. Besides the prestigious competition, the festival offers different kinds of activities in the off-program - exhibitions, discussions or workshops.
The 60th edition of the International Short Film Festival Brno 16 will be held from October 9 to 12.
The GlobeCSF (Pouria Mousavi and Leyla Parvaz) is responsible for the International distribution of "Trap" short film.
